I have been cyber stalking these folks for a few years and I think they are just super! If you are interested in herbal knowledge or even living off the grid, they are a goldmine of ever-changing information.
Why did the Normans win in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings? Their horses had saddles and stirrups, which helped the mounted soldiers' stability!

This is really good reading and ties in nicely with many of my on-going concerns. I am so very proud of these California nurses who are taking a very strong stance in spite of what I think would be overbearing circumstances.
This is a short article and is just proof how corrupt things really are.
The EPA actually over-rode the Texas Railroad Commission on this decision, a precedent maybe?
"What are they doing to us and who are they"?
We are at the start of a new Ice Age. You don't believe it? OK, what game are you going to watch this weekend?
Quite an interesting little article.
Mexico is today mourning the death of a female police chief, the latest victim of a seemingly unneding drug war between gansters and the authorities. Hermila Garcia, 38, became the top law enforcement officer in the town of Meoqui only two months ago.
Indie actor Mark Ruffalo says he found himself on the Pennsylvania Homeland Security office's terror watch list for organizing screening of an oil-drilling documentary.
The federal government now figures that oil dispersants did a better job of breaking up the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico than it first calculated.

Just dropping this article off. Don't have time right now to post. More concerned citizens apparently without a voice.
Halliburton released fracking fluid ingredients online. Somehow this gives me no comfort. I believe they are acting with great arrogance and diregard for the public. I don't think they will ever be held accountable.
This is a follow-up article on "fracking" and more specifically, Halliburton's refusal to list publicly all chemicals used in this process.
This is an area of interest that needs further looking into. The article caught my eye when I saw "Halliburton" 'cause the name just sends shivers down my spine. Anyway, I would like to research this "fracturing" stuff a little more before I say much and insert foot in my mouth.
Ok, here's another SILLY article talking about the "incident" on our border. Yesterday's report stated 47 people killed in one day. Now they only mention a "few" deaths.

This article was very interesting to me; I, who am most ignorant of politics. It is a little lengthy but well worth the read for a decent appraisal of current situations, especially for the un-informed.
I found this interesting, especially the highest savings potential...................from reforming aquisitions.
Ran across this and thought some of you might find it interesting,
I don't have the pictures imported here yet, so as I write and describe them I don't know how the pics will translate. I hope you can see that there is a dime placed next to the little horse-hair baskets. I purchased these in the White Mountains at a trade show.

Dr. Weil is very respected in the medical profession and alternative medicine. He makes reference to the studies done on cancer and cannabis.
This article is from medline.gov. While it does not discuss any research done on cancer, it is very worthy a read.
Still trying to find actual studies on cancer killing marijuanna.
